Two years ago Master Philip Hinchliffe taught me my first technique, since then my favourite aspect of Kuk Sool Won has changed many times. sometimes I appreciated the positive feeling of the classes and at other times I enjoyed the physical challenges. I remember watching somebody a couple of belts beyond my stage, thinking that he moved in a special way, and wondering if that could be taught. When I promoted to the belt he wore I realised that some of what I had admired was now natural to me. I recommend This Kuk Sool Won club very highly.

Since Louis started his journey in Kuk Sool Won I have seen a big change in him. My son Louis, like myself when I was younger, didnt always like joining in with big groups, Was shy and seemed to lack confidence. Since He has started his training I have seen his confidence grow, interacting in the class very well and wants to answer questions asked to the class. The class's themselves I find very enjoyable to watch and have alot of respect for the whole Team that run this class - as well as seeing that all the students helping with the class's and each other. I really cant fault the way this very big family bond and make it alot of fun for the students. Since Louis started his younger brothers has also joined. One of which has a disablity and sadly no longer trains, but what impressed me was the amount of attention he received to help him with his training. I was so impressed. So my oldest and youngest boy (giuseppe)are enjoying Kuk Sool Won So much which makes me very happy watching my boys give it their all, keeping fit, learning self defence and being apart of another family. I am also pleased how parents thoughts are taken into account and acted on. Anyone thinking of joining should. Well done Cambridge Kuk Sool Won and all involved!!!!!

I came back to Kuk Sool as a Brown Belt with 4 stripes at the beginning of last year after a 9 year break. Having left previously for varying reasons I was nervous about being accepted back and more so regarding whether I would remember anything. All my apprehension soon disappeared after 10 minutes of starting the class. The instruction is clear, fun and friendly and all my class mates made me feel welcome straight away. I am now very proud to say that I passed my 1st degree blackbelt this month and feel very much part of Cambridge Kuk Sool Won. My ongoing thanks to my class mates and more so to the friendship and respect @I have toward our Instructor KJN Philip, without whom I wouldn't have achieved my long awaited goal.
